NextStop’s Summer Teen Intensives give young artists the opportunity to train, collaborate, and perform in a professional, ensemble-driven environment. After two exciting summers producing Grease: Teen Edition and Alice By Heart, we’re thrilled to return with our third Teen Conservatory Musical. The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals

In this hilarious horror-comedy, a small-town apocalypse turns terrifyingly tuneful when an alien hive mind invades and forces everyone to burst into song. Paul, the one guy who hates musicals, must decide whether to join the chorus or fight to survive while the world sings around him.

Join the cast or crew of The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals: School Edition, a full-scale production of Team StarKid’s hilarious and offbeat cult favorite. Work with a professional production team to bring this one-of-a-kind show to life on stage.

Tech Team Details: Work begins the week of Jun 22, featuring joint tech workshops and scheduled lab time alongside professional designers.

Audition Workshop: Apr 11

Auditions: TBA in May (combined with play auditions; separate callbacks including dance call)

Rehearsals Begin: Week of Jun 22 (evenings & weekends)

Performances: Aug 14–16 & Aug 21-23 (7 performances total)
