NEXTSTOP’S TEEN SUMMER INTENSIVE
NextStop is producing a full-scale production of Alice by Heart this summer, which will feature an all-teen cast (rising 8th through graduating 12th graders). Students will work with NextStop's professional directors and designers to create an adventure down the rabbit hole to remember!

Set against the backdrop of the London Blitz during World War II, the story follows Alice Spencer, who, along with her friend Alfred, seeks refuge in a London Underground station during the bombings. Inspired by Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the musical explores the poignancy of first love, coming to terms with loss, and finding the courage to move forward. 

From the Tony® and Grammy® award-winning creators of Spring Awakening, Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, and co-written by Jessie Nelson (Waitress), Alice by Heart is a touching musical inspired by Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
