Celebrating Women and Our First Female President:
Welcoming our “first female President” has a different meaning for us here at NextStop. As we enter our fourth year producing professional live theatre, we are delighted to announce Vicki Kile as the new President of NextStop’s Board of Directors, the first female to hold the position in the non-profit organization’s 28 year history.
Ms. Kile assumes the role at a time when our achievements in gender parity and female-forward productions have garnered fanfare for our fledgling pro company. First, we received critical praise for our first independent new work, “No Spring Chicken” written and directed, stage-managed and designed by women. Then, in September, for the second consecutive year, NextStop Theatre was honored with the 50/50 Applause Award by the International Centre for Women Playwrights.
We invite you to join us for our first two performances of “Eurydice” at 50% off to help us celebrate in style!

About the Show:
It’s a Mystical Drama
Acclaimed playwright Sarah Ruhl reimagines the classic myth of Orpheus from the female perspective. Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice must journey to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to remember her lost love. With contemporary characters, ingenious plot twists, and breathtaking visual effects, this play is a fresh look at a timeless love story.
