Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, but we don’t recommend it. Seating is extremely limited and most shows sell out. You can buy tickets online or by phone up to show-time in most cases. Wait list tickets are subject to peak pricing.

Since popularity of most performances determines ticket pricing, we STRONGLY encourage purchasing tickets well in advance. 

Where are the tickets I ordered?

Your email order confirmation is all you need. As long as you received an email confirmation that your order was successfully processed, simply check in by name when you arrive at the theatre. You may also login to your account to see all of your orders for upcoming events. Feel free to call OvationTix at (866) 811-4111 if you are still concerned about your order.

When do I need to arrive?

You must check in at the podium before show time to be seated. Our policy is that late arrivals will not be admitted. If you have not checked in prior to show time, your tickets are considered forfeited and are non-refundable. We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to show time, leaving ample time for DC-area traffic, locating the theater, and choosing your favorite seat.

I bought a package – when or how can I select my performances?

You can select your performances and seats online as soon as you buy your package or anytime up until showtime. (Read more about how to choose performances.)

Is there a Senior, Student, or Group discount?

Senior discounts are available for season packages. Pricing will be displayed on our packages page.

Student discounts are available for select performances using the promo code “Student.”

Student RUSH: Students of any age may purchase any seat in the theatre that is unoccupied at curtain time for $5, cash only, at the door. For sold out shows, Student Rush ticket purchasers will not be admitted until any full-price waiting list tickets, subscribers, and donors have been accommodated. (Note: RUSH is different from student tickets purchased in advance.)

A show is sold out – is there a waiting list?

Yes, check out our popular “Standby Ticket” option. Waiting list tickets are subject to peak pricing.

Can I exchange my tickets?

Season package holders may exchange your tickets for another performance of the same show (subject to availability, of course). Please use our Ticket Exchange Form to request an exchange or call OvationTix at (866) 811-4111.

Is there reserved seating?

Seating is General Admission (you choose your seat when you arrive), however, you must have an Accessible/No Stairs or Wheelchair Accessible ticket to sit in the front row seats. NextStop Theatre is designed so that none of the 114 seats are more than 25 feet from the stage. Every seat is a good one.

Donor Reserved Seating: Donors at the $500 level and above may request their favorite seats (up to 4) in advance.

Are there stairs?

Yes, you must climb stairs to reach every row except the front row. If you are not able or willing to navigating stairs, you must select an Accessible/No Stairs/front row seat.

I need front row, disability accessible seating, or special assistance – what do I do?

When making your ticket purchase, you may select “Accessible: No Stairs/Front Row,” “Wheelchair Accessible Seat,” “Wheelchair Companion Seat,” or “Free-Standing Chair” if you require those accommodations. If “Accessible: No Stairs/Front Row,” “Wheelchair Accessible Seat,” “Wheelchair Companion Seat,” or “Free-Standing Chair” are not displayed, those seating types are no longer available, and you will need to select another performance.

I would like my class of students to attend your production – what are my options?

We’re happy to help your class attend our productions, either individually or as a group. Our directors will be happy to answer questions you send us from your students. E-mail education@NextStopTheatre for more information.

Inclement Weather/Cancelled Performances Policy:

NextStop Theatre Company will make every effort to continue performances as scheduled. In the event inclement weather or other conditions threaten the safety of our cast and crew, we may cancel a performance. In addition to contacting as many guests as reasonably possible, NextStop Theatre Company will post cancellation notices on our website and provide cancellation information to OvationTix at 866-811-4111 at least two hours before the performance.

Should a show be cancelled, guests with Advance Tickets may exchange their tickets for a remaining available performance of the same production, request a refund for the cancelled performance, or donate their ticket value (no action required).

Should severe weather impact your ability to safely travel to the theater, you may request a ticket exchange for another available performance of the same production.
