  • + -

Are there any opportunities for students who want to learn about backstage?

The Crew Section of Summer Players is great for students who want to try their hand at the design/tech world. Typical activities will involve lots of theatre games and learning about different areas of design (lights, sound, scene painting, costumes, stage make-up, props, etc) as well as trying them out. Students will also get to be hands-on in the session, and will actually get to help make the set, costumes, and props that will be used in our Summer Players session.
  • + -

Will students have to audition to be a part of the cast of the performance session (Summer Players)?

All students who enroll in the ACTOR session will be a part of the cast! We will hold auditions on the first day to determine who will be playing which roles, and students will get their scripts the first day. We will cast the show based on who enrolls in the session, and no roles are pre-cast…it will definitely be an adventure!
